NTerminal’s technical data streams include data on GitHub repositories, mining pools, nodes, hashrate volatility, blockchain size, transaction costs, data on dark markets, vulnerability to attack (e.g. the cost of a 51% network attack), active developer community involvement (e.g. wallets, dApps), and more. NTerminal provides data and analysis on the activity of individual blockchain developers and the code of projects built on blockchain.

NTerminal also provides a large variety of derived metrics on project and asset centralization. Clients can find out how many developers made a significant contribution into each project, how long ago their Github account was created, how many times the project was forked, and how many 3rd party developers integrated it into their own projects in the larger blockchain ecosystem. Some of these metrics can be easily calculated on-the-fly, then tweaked and overlaid on other datasets. For example, showing a market capitalization next to the age of the project and the number of 3rd party wallets paints a gloomy picture of centralization for some of the $1B+ projects.

Developer Statistics

NTerminal collects a vast array of metrics from Github reporistories (all of this data may not be available via web-platform access). If you are using Splunk to access your NTerminal data, the following example search will return commonly used statistics about a project of interest:
